to me this sounds rather popular rock music oriented, close to Meat Loaf and similar any other opinions? Edited by Rivertree - May 24 2021 at 04:19 |

Sound Horizon themselves were added some time ago (to Crossover Prog). I remember the evaluation very well, though it wasn't a shoo-in by any means!
Here's the original suggestion thread for them: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=92411. In eight years since the addition there has been just one review and two ratings in total for the band's entire 11-album discography, so they are hardly a well known act here. The details of the five later albums in their discography needs a bit of work on them too - no track timings or musicians info at the moment. Maybe Linked Horizon could be combined with the Sound Horizon entry if they are approved?

LINKED HORIZON is a Japanese symphonic prog group with multi-instrumentalist composer Revo as the leader. LINKED HORIZON'S music contains various uses of orchestra and keyboard that mix high-energy symphonic rock with with slower paced, prettier pieces. As the band's leader, Revo is the sound creator who handles all of the lyrics, composition, and arrangement, when he collaborates with other works on music activities. LINKED HORIZON is a sister project to his band SOUND HORIZON. Unlike the conventional SOUND HORIZON, which expresses the original story created by Revo in a suite format, Revo draws the world with music by working and collaborating with other works. Since launching LINKED HORIZON in June of 2012, the band has released multiple singles and two albums. In 2013, the band worked on the opening theme song for the popular anime show Attack On Titan. This opening helped gain more traction for this band which continues to grow to this day.
