I'm not the biggest fan of prog metal, but musically this is not bad but the vocals are horrendous. I've just deleted it.

His voice is more similar to Michael Sadler's from Saga than James Labrie's. |
Really, Saga? Well, if Josh would sing cleaner and softer, I guess it's
not that far off. Remember I've only heard this one song though!
Listen to Ice Age, 2:46-2:56. Now that is the most Labrie sounding vocalist I've ever heard!

Hi Progzilla,
Personally, I think their second outing, Liberation is the stronger
of the two, but there is no doubt they are a talented outfit.
Josh Pincus' vocals are generally quite clean, and he has a good
voice..they are worth checking out further...

Good evening Fandango!
It's not something he only does once, the second half of the song he
does it all the time. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then he
probably doesn't do it on other tracks!

I think that The Great Divide has the stronger melodies ... but Liberation has better production and is a little more mature.
They're both awesome!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I've just been listening to the free mp3 clip "Ice Age" on The Great
Divide by Ice Age. It has some great parts, especially the clean
segments, nice recommendation there Progtologist! Gosh, Josh sounds
alot like James Labrie... but what on earth is he doing towards the end
of the song (e.g. 9:43) ? He sounds ridiculous as he grunts the words
from the bottom of his throat with a burr. Please, tell me it's
something he only does on this particular track! I cant stand this
voice anymore... but the music is good!
