Hi, I have said "hi" and "hello" to all my customers and to show you the difference, one time in Pendleton (during Round Up - 1983) I decided that all the employees would make some animal sounds as hints to various needs in the food line and so on. So one time, one of the guys does a horse really loud and some guy pokes his head from the entrance area ... "I've come to the right place!" ... and the whole place cracked up! Here, hellos are a suggestion of dislike and hate. That is SICK! My comments on that post were not a complaint! I merely asked, if the OP meant ALBUMS ... not songs ... and right off the bat, your comment suggests that I am finding all the suggestions incorrect, and wrong ... none of them are "wrong". But they were not all ALBUMS. AND some suggestions were very nice! As usual ... pick on me ... what else is knew ... I can't be right, because it means some folks here are wrong ... I'm not about "right or wrong" ... but using words and specifying them PROPERLY is important to me ... look what happens when the WORDS mean NOTHING AT ALL! In such cases I think it's better to leave it to the original poster looking for recommendations to deem the worthiness of the music per the topic (hope Lucas returns). His second youtube link does have vocals, so I don't think choosing one with vocals should be a problem. I think it's good to look beyond just the headline (topic title) -- in this by reading and interpreting the first post and checking out the music he mentioned. And we are not supposed to embed full albums, samples are good for a taste, and one can always look into full albums if those appeal. I linked to albums. Pedro, you too often come across as negative and complaining, and the "Hi" does not soften that.

Hi,
Weird ... the OP says "instrumental albums" ... and we get a bunch of single songs posted ... and Santana is not "jungle theme" at all ... but then I'm not sure many of you have lived near the Amazon like I did to have a really good feel for it ... some song makes you supposedly feel it ... There is a huge difference!

I'd recommend the albums Portes d’Orient / Amazonia (double CD) and Outrelande by French experimental / library music luminaries Sonorhc. It seems a bit pointless though as the records are OOP and not on Spotify. There's only a bit on Youtube but it gives a flavour:

I like what you posted Gui_Stripy. I love lots of tropica/ exootica kind of music.
Nino Nardini & Roger Roger's Jungle Obsession was the first to come to mind (lovely album). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noYzjth4wEU And Mandingo right after: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvxWibFr0wiKdiWBc2ppZt0DjGw5kGEru And Mandingo for various albums, but especially for the Primevil Rythm of Life |

Hi,
You will NEVER FIND a better pair of albums, than the ones that EGBERTO GISMONTI does on his guitar in the early days ... later he took this to the piano and it is just as incredible ... and if you want a crazy album that for me is like hearing Stravinsky ... try NO CAIPIRA and make sure you play it LOUD and on a system that can be called a "system" instead of mp3 earphones from your smartphone! He took this a bit further to play with Charlie Haden and Jan Garbarek and those are also worth noting. Likewise, his close friend, NANA VASCONCELLOS also has a couple of albums worth mentioning. The only thing for you to remember is that this is NOT the commercial sounding Brazilian music at all ... and sometimes calling it "jazz" is really sad ... because it really is a heck of a trip ... (something that progressive folks don't do anymore!) Academia de Dancas Danca das Cabecas Sol do Meio Dia No Caipira Saudades Magico Folk Songs (didn't list the others)

From Still Life Talking by Pat Metheny..one of my favorite jazz things that has a superb 'tropical feel'.
Beautiful music.... |
