Some more Melodic AOR/Metal from Sweden.  The Frontiers Music label has released a lot of new music in this vein in recent years.  This might appeal to PA fans that like the more melodic side of our genre.

nice! Thumbs Up

I've wanted to have a Rush marathon for quite some time, I just haven't found the time.
Also there are so many new albums and other cool discoveries (new and old) and so little time. Smile

Thanks... Smile

Leaving Opeth to one side, I think that essentially, you and I have very similar tastes... we even both like Camel...  I suppose I am probably a bit more conservative than you and stick to listening to what I love more, whereas you tend to listen to more new music than I do, overall... but like you rightly say, there's so little time.

A couple of months ago, I went on a Rush session, and played everything from Presto to Angels a number of times. I'll probably do Signals to HYF over the next month, in between a lot of Yes, which I haven't heard in a while.

Recently, I've listened to quite a bit of Camel, BJH, Eloy, Mike Oldfield and Spock's.... Clap

When I am not listening to prog, this is in my sweet spot.  Melodic AOR in the vein of Chicago and Journey, featuring Jason Scheff, ex-Chicago bassist/vocalist, and Deen Castronovo, ex-Journey drummer, with Jay DeMarcus, vocalist for Rascal Flatts.
