I just discovered this album last night from the Berlin School discogs page, some may call it cheesy elevator music. But I call it wonderful. This album sounds like proto-vaporwave in the form of Tangerine Dream/Klaus Schultz influenced Berlin School music, which is an unlikely place to find something that sounds this way. And yes, I am an unapologetic fan of vaporwave. I know a lot of it is just sampled but I appreciate the hypnotic qualities of it which is why I also really appreciate Berlin School and the krautrock it broke off from. The tracks on this album sound like they could have been made as one of those 80s styled electronic albums nowadays, yet it was made in the 80s. So I guess to call it proto-vaporwave is a bit of a paradox, because vaporwave is reverse-proto-whateverthisis. But I digress; awesome album right here.
