Welcome aboard the prog vessel
Won’t worry you’ll find loads of similarly minded folks on here that mourn the passing of Neil. Our dear admin George (Historian9) actually made an ode to him on PA. It’s at the top of the page.

I hope you stick around. This place does marvelous things to your music collection.

Well hello good people.

Came out of the woodwork due to Neil Pearts departure and the need to be with fellow fans. Nearly everyone I told in real life just said ' who ? ' .

Prog has been very important to me throughout my life ( at least I thought it was, can't believe how many discussion there are on whether something is prog or not on twitter and  t'internet)

Followed Fish all my life and will see him for the last time in March as he tours his final album - I know most define him from his stuff with Marillion , but if you haven't listened to his solo stuff then do dip into it there is some truly beautiful music to be found - his last album Feast of Consequences was divine in places.

Marillion, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes, Rush etc via Queensryche and more recently a mild obsession with Heather Findlay and her time in Mostly Autumn.

I'll save my argument that A-ha are prog pop until I have my feet under the table a bit more :)

Be kind to me I'm still grieving Mr Peart
