Again I think the album is better than what most people say, but Endless Dream is the definite classic off this one.

Endless Dream easily for me. My favourite song from this line-up, and really among my overall favourite ones from the band.

"I Am Waiting" - the best song of the Rabin era for me.

This record is worth it for Endless Dream alone IMHO!

I agree with the others that this is the best of the Rabin-era albums. I voted for Where Will You Be - the combination of fast percussion and slow melodies gets me almost every time.

I feel the same. Not a bad album, though not very innovative/creative musical content on it. And yes, Endless Dream also got my vote.

I actually really like this album and I think it often gets unfairly maligned.
Maybe not especially musically innovative, but, for me, it does succeed in creating a strong emotional connection with the music, particularly in the final track "Endless Dream", which gets my vote. |

If i could, I'd vote for Endless Dream. It's about the closest Rabin-era Yes got to a proper prog composition. I don't mind most of this release, overall I think it's the best of the Rabin-led era. Not sure I agree about the production quality though. Alan's drums sound awful on this to me - a great big sound yes, but it's very flat and has very little variation, sounds rather boring to be honest.
