   I have a N2 and I love it. It was my second guitar, and I was heavily into Extreme at that time (Pornograffitti is an awesome album).
If you're a beginner, I'd suggest you buy a cheaper guitar though and invest the saved money in some professional guitar lessons. It's very important that a really experienced player shows you how to hold the guitar, pick, which fingers to use etc.
After that you can use the Line6 GuitarPort ... they have tons of good lessons for beginners as well as experts.
