Syn is an electronic project lead by Scottish musician David T. Dewdney. From listening to the music and looking at some of the album covers and titles, it's very clear who he worships at the alter of: mid '70s Tangerine Dream and solo Edgar Froese. Upon listening to the music you can frequently swear you're hearing Phaedra, Rubycon, Aqua, and Epsilon in Malaysian Pale outtakes. His Bandcamp page boasts of no VST-plugins, all hardware gear. Upon visiting the site, not only is the music a bit obvious where it's at, but look at some of the covers and titles! There are covers that totally borrow from Phaedra, Aqua, Rubycon, and Alpha Centauri, titles like Alpha Centauri, Fauni-Genus, and Aqueous. Also further info can be found on Discogs at Syn (3).

Some of the CDs and CDrs sport labels reminiscent of the Brain and Virgin labels.

This is truly one that's a no brainer where Syn stands musically. Syn, to my ears, deserves to be in Prog Archives.
