Holy effing kayrap isolated backing tracks RSOG has just brought me right back to January 1974 and those first few spins on my cheap old turntable. Does this mean I'm going to have to break down and buy Wilson's remix? I think it does.

I am not particularly interested in isolation - I just want a button on my CD player to 'Mute Saxophone' - Tis the one instrument that to me has no place in prog. Very big disappointment was when seeing Hackett recently he had that saxophonist on "Cinema Show" - completely ruined it for me......

Yes worked out their harmonies themselves, I heard Chris Squire say so somewhere once and frankly it comes as little surprise.
Great iso stem, Jon and Chris' voices are clear. I'm guessing the 3rd voice is Howe?
Strange first post ikr? Hi all.

| Although Anderson will always remain my favourite vocalist of any band and time, these tapes do remind us, Robert, of just how important Squire was vocally, and just what a lovely voice he had. Howe was also such an important component of the overall sound. What a pity they all fell out..........

I'm guessing they're isolating the center channel from the Steven Wilson 5.1 mixes - usually it contains isolated vocals or lead instruments. I've also seen some that cancel out the instrument mixes with the full mixes, leaving just the vocals - takes a bit more work, but it means you get all the harmonies.

Oh, Wilson did a remix of Tales From TopographicZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...
