The large print was an aspect of the web site I copied that from...and I can vouch for the accuracy being an Optometrist.

These photos are a good argument, but until I see some neon colored bikinis, I'll remain a bit skeptical.

The color is a fluorescent version of a lemon/lime crossover. I can't tell why anyone would wear it. I don't want to be seen in it myself. |
I call this Stabylo Yellow (or whatever brand of highlighter you use in your neck of the woods) I saw some stupid scouts forcing the kids in their "protection" to wear these safety jackets ... some of those jackets were so big that two kids tripped on the bottom and fell (this was in Flanders on their "national day", of course)...

There's quite a few soccer/football teams wearing that colour now as an alternative 'change' kit. Drug testing should be mandatory for the designers.

I thought this was gonna be another 'blue/tan dress vs. gold/black dress'.
Actually it seems the florescent vest has become a bit of a fashion trend. Kinda like jacket liners five years ago.

I'd just spin it back on them, Kevin - "Wait a minute, you're not really the safety inspectors are all, are you?!"

Yep, as Michael said these are just standard work wear for just about any sort of manual labour.
But even if you aren't a contractor, these can be pretty handy to have, actually. Put one of those babies on, carry around a clipboard, and you can get into anywhere! If anyone asks what you're doing there, just say you're "from the city" and they'll let you through, no questions asked. |
Man, I never thought of that! Pretty sure they're opening up some new `exotic gentlemen's club' over the road from work here, might have to don one of these babies, grab a clipboard and head over there and do a `surprise safety inspection' - especially the backstage area where the lovely ladies are - they need the most protection! |
