I have always been kinda 'arty' having been a designer for a bit, so I will always go for my fave LOOKING movie, which is 'Alien'...cant go wrong with Giger..

Dude, LOTR is fantasy(awsome film too) - you know elves, dwarfs etc. SW is sci fic - space ships, lasers get the picture? |
there is no science in star wars
spaceships in star wars meerly a floating objects
elves and dwarfs could be sci fi material,

Dude, LOTR is fantasy(awsome film too) - you know elves, dwarfs etc. SW is sci fic - space ships, lasers get the picture?

For it's time Metropolis was a visually stunning movie and I think stands up to the test of time very well.Anyone who hasn't seen this awesome silent movie is missing out.
