Only seen Donnie Darko and A Scanner Darkly so no vote.

I need to watch A Scanner Darkly again, but today I'll vote for The Dark Crystal, because there's nothing else like it! An '80s treasure.

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

Dark City was fantastic but the Dark Crystal edges it out.

Thought this poll would be a little more popular, and that discussion would be somewhat vibrant, but then my predictive capabilities are not what they once were.
I should have put "Dark" in quotes, but then I'm sure people "get" it. And I wish I'd done it as multiple-votes. Here are the trailers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkjiDJUHPHM I love Donnie Darko and A Scanner Darkly, and loved Dark City when it came out, and Dark Star is fun, but never really "got me" like the others. If I had to choose one that I can re-watch quite frequently, my vote goes to The Dark Crystal. I loved it when I was young and it still genuinely moves me. |

Dancer in the Dark for the win! No, love it, but not for this list. These are just the first five to spring to mind, and I'm sure that I'm missing various ones that I would include if I could think of them. Dark Star doesn't fit that well, I feel, but so be it.
