Agreed. 1 - Freewill 2 - Jacob's Ladder 3a - Entre Nous 3b - Different Strings 3c - Natural Science 4 - The Spirit of Radio I did the a,b,c because on any given day those songs can move up or down the list. Spirit is a song that I don't need to hear ever again.

One of my favorite Rush albums, and I have to go with Natural Science. Different Strings is a close second though.

Jacob's Ladder gets the nod, followed by Freewill and Spirit of Radio.

A great album, nothing mediocre on it.
But Jacob's Ladder is simply immense. |

The ones I really love on this album are Jakob's Ladder and Natural Science. I think Natural Science would take my overall preference, but I would need to listen to it again to make sure.

Natural Science for sure, but Freewill is not far behind.
This is a great Rush record, more accessible for starters than their earlier material.

I don't normally like Rush all that much, but Jacob's Ladder is actually quite great; the one song that lives up to Rush's reputation. Permanent Waves in general might be their most consistently listenable album.

As I've already stated, I don't like Rush all that lot. But Different Strings and Natural Science where two great songs. Alongside The Camera Eye.

Freewill is the ass-kicker here. Just play that solo again if you doubt me.
