In days of future passed I always preferred the Moody Blues to Gong, whereas The Mars Volta aren't even on the same planet in terms of musicianship. Smile

I suppose the Moodies.....though that is not my favorite, which would be Children.
Never cared for Mars Volta.....and Angels Egg is not my favorite by Gong which would be You.
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.

Deloused is the only great TMV album imo. Gong wins this one. My favorite Gong album too.

A different Mars Volta album and I would probably vote for it, since about half of Frances The Mute is pretty boring to my ears I'll go with Gong.
