Apparently the real draft started tonight...blue shirts drafted two centers, and traded away Stefan & Raanta to do it. Not sure how I feel about it, but they did need to get younger so I suppose this helps that.

Well with the unbablanced divisions I believe they just played a certain team less or more than others, based on the numbrs. I assume something similar will occur...certain teams will play some team less times to make room to play the GK.

And every team still plays 82 games....I'm just not sure how it breaks down now. The divisions were uneven before so it still wasn't an even schedule in terms of who you are playing. But whatever the system is now for figuring it out, idk. they did just release the schedule today, so maybe it's available somewhere on the website.
It just doesn't seem like it would work mathematically. It would seem that one team would either have to play 83 games or 81 games in order to make it work.

Ottawa loses Methot, Chicago loses Van Riemsdyk. Wow.

Does it seem odd that they would only add one team? Now they are uneven. Does the math workout that each team can still play the same amount of games when there is an odd number of teams?

Lindberg was not my first choice for the Rangers to lose in the expansion draft, but it's certainly not the worst outcome for this ridiculous event.

Drouin in MTL. We lose a great prospect but that prospect would probably not have reached his prime before Price is 35. Now sign Radulov and we'll finally have a great offence.

Wow! The Pens did again!...did not believe they could do it back to back. What a tough way to for the Preds to lose on that goal with not much time left, bank shot off the goalie into the net. Preds have nothing to be ashamed of....good game! Sad the season is over.... :(
