Bubu has posted official footage of their live performance of Suenos De Maniqui, recorded live at Teatro El Cubo in Buenos Aires, Argentina from July 7, 2016.
The band consists of original bassist and composer Daniel Andreoli, as well as Julian Bachmanovsky, Alvar Llusá Damiani, Federico Silva, and Juan Ignacio Varela, who play drums, violin, guitar and tenor saxophone, respectively. Bubu was originally formed in the 1970's and has gained immense respect in prog circles for their eclectic 1978 masterpiece, Anabelas. They are in the midst of a series of performances playing old material as well as promoting their 2016 EP, Resplandor. Bubu is set to perform later tonight at Galpon B in Buenos Aires. Bubu's facebook page also maintains that an album of new material is on the way.
Anyway, I was super excited to see this video posted. Anabelas is my favourite album of all time and the few recordings I'd seen on youtube weren't nearly as high quality as this one. Enjoy!
