I do see some new potential soldiers around the forum to recruit into the AR family... some of my best capos are still around... hell one is now an admin much like me they went legitimate and respectable but suspect all it would take is one phone call to bring them out of retirement and the forum would be awash in blood again...

That's the comment that made me feel old, that you had to look up Rodney Dangerfield. Prog fans (and this website) tend to be predominately male but there are other girls/women who love prog. I started listening to Yes, etc. when I was 15 (many, many, many years ago). Welcome to the site! | Ah Terri...you missed a few many's.
|
:) Thank you! When I have kids, I'll make sure they get full exposure to prog :) |
I exposed my daughter to lots of prog. She hates it.

I may have missed some many's but fortunately I have some kind friends who will always point my lapses out!

oh no... I'm not doing that. That is part of what you have to look forward to as you explore this music. What is one's man pot of gold is often another pot he pisses in. Just trust me that being prog does not automatically make it good... many an artist didn't have the talent, the songwriting to carry off what good interesting prog demands.

Love Beach by ELP. Someone had to get it out first. BTW they are my favourite band. Some great bands have made some stinker albums and some stinker bands have made some awesome albums. The music world is weird.

Heck yeah they are. If you like concept albums you should check them out. They were the band that got me into prog back in high school (now I'm feeling old ).
