Ohh, please.

I'm very tired of listening to people at my school who claim they've been "enlightened" by acid or mushrooms. It's a bunch of grade "A" BS.

People who need drugs to enjoy themselves aren't creative or intelligent enough to enjoy life sober.

I've been around plenty of drug types, for I went through my experimental phase, too. The way they depend on their drugs for entertainment is just sickening.

A swift kick in the pants is what they need.

I haven't done psychedelics, but I guess "Careful with That Axe, Eugene" might be the song in this kind of occasion.

dude, im in my experimental phase. i was just describing the experience. i was not saying im going to spend my life on shrooms and other drugs. i wanted to share my experience with all of you because i have noone else that understands the music i listen to.

I apologize for the comments I made. The people I used to do this stuff with were mainly a bunch of pricks, so I suppose I was just venting. As long as you don't depend on them, drugs can be fun.

Try watching "Live in Pompei" on shrooms

Now that was something. The room was wavering when the high-pitched beeps of "Echoes" began to sound. Then "A Saucerful of Secrets" was a journey. There was this other time where we listened to Strawberry Alarm Clock all evening.

Haha, but nowadays, it's just coffee for boring ol' me, I guess.

Read an interview with Chris Squire saying that seveal women have told him they "did it" to CTTE  because it was one of the few tracks that lasted a whole album side.

Better than drugs!

Mind you told this to my good lady who said something about Long Distance Runaround being two minutes of frenetic off-rythym beats and then it all finsihes. What can she mean?

There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime.
I never said I was frightened of dying.

A delicious drug

Ooooh, please.

Save your disdain and sanctimony.

If that's all the insight you can provide, you clearly learned nothing about yourself during your "experimental phase".

Is it so hard for you to look beyond your ego and respect someone else's search for meaning?

I agree completely. There are so many people on these forums who simply cannot accept the choices of others.

I don't mind condemning drug using, as I don't mind hyping them neither, but I don't believe enjoying them has any relations to person's creativiness or intelligence. For example Jean-Paul Sartre tripped with mescalin, no?
