I really like Emerson's solo on the album version of
Fanfare for the Common Man, plus those on From
The Beginning and the Works 1 version of Tank.
Another huge favourite is Catalan by Greenslade. It
is really aggressive and the synth has a great,
slightly distorted sound.
Also agree with the choice of Wakeman's on The
Revealing Science of God (about the only thing he
did on the album!)

true, next to Mellotron, electronic (Farfisa) organs he used a great variety of Moog synths, notably the miniMoog...you can hear it on his classic albums "Body love vol II" (in the track "moogetique" for long monotonous,"moody" atmospheres), "Timewind" and "Moondawn"

The Moogsolo on TRSOG is Wakeman's longest and best one in Yes I think. His other soli (on studio albums anyway) are usually too short to be called a solo. His solo part on Yessongs (Six Wives) contains some nice soloing also.
Mark Kelly has a few nice moogsoli as well on Script For A Jester's Tear, like The Web.

Given the sad news of Robert Moog's demise, and at risk of doing
something that may have been done before, it started me thinking;
what's your favourite Moog solo ? I'd give equal ranking to
Wakeman's solo toward the end of "The Revealing Science of God" on
side/track 1 of Tales from Topographic Oceans; and Keith Emerson's live
rendition of "Aquatarkus" on "Welcome back My Friends..."
Got to be a Moog mind, not just any old synth....
