LOL no we didn't expect that.  Believe it or not.. both Raff and I are supremely open minded people.  We were with SWilson at least as we both loved (to certain degrees) the PT material.  So we gave him several chances. Live is where I have found that many bands/artists can connect even if the album leaves you cold. If it doesn't do it live.. no chance in hell the album will.

May I ask why you saw him anyways? Did you expect him to play his 5.1 mix of Warrior On The Edge Of Time?

Oh I agree with myself. It ain't just random hate. While I don't own the albums.. we have seen him live several times.  BORING!!! Though Dream Theater still holds our personal record for number of times having seen.. and walked out of mid set.

Left me zero reason to buy any of the albums.  I really will never undestand what some of you.. many of you see.  You all need more RPI in your musical lives.....LOL

There's only two worthwhile songs that he's ever put out and they're the first two on RTRTS. Other than that, I agree with you

The highest ranked album I have never heard in its entirety is the #1 album, Close to the Edge. Next in line would be Relayer (the only Yes album I ever had was The Yes Album, which I never cared for, oh well, sorry).

The highest ranked album that I haven't heard at all is Io Sono Noto Libero - Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso (basically if it's Italian Prog and not PFM, I have not heard it). I don't remember any music from VdGG's Godbluff, but I do remember the cover as something that I own, so I presume that I've heard it way off in the past.

If we don't count the Italian bands, then Opeth - Still Life would be the next highest rated that I've never heard, I guess. Although I've heard enough from them to know that I'm not interested.

What!?!?!?!?LOLEmbarrassed So let me get this straight you're from Argentina and you have yet to hear the finest prog album your country ever produced? Oh boy - let me tell you, you're in for a real treat when you finally dip your toes in Bubu's AnabelasThumbs Up Hell it is possibly one of the finest prog albums out there full stop.

Will check it out. I did listen to a lot of local prog despite none of it being among my favorite bands, but for some reason never heard that one.

Yeah ahem...sorry if I came on a little strongLOL Just read my post backEmbarrassed

Anyway, it's a pretty easy album to get a hold of if you're looking for a cd. At least it was a little while back.
I hope you'll dig it as much as I do.

Those are the ones I haven't listened to, most of those ranked between 90-100.
Cannot recommend these highly enough. Absolutely outstanding.

Will check them out Thumbs Up

Peter Hammill:  Silent Corner, Empty Stage for me as well.

Really want to hear it though: I've got two of his other albums, including In Camera, which is supurb!

Well if you can dig your Crimson with a big slab of Scandinavian melancholy then you're going to enjoy Hybris. Sounds nothing like Steve Wilson.

It currently comes in at position no. 18 on the PA Top 100 : Anglagard's Hybris. Never heard of 'em. Any good (please don't say they're as good as Steven Wilson, everybody's hero at the moment)?

That and In Camera are probably the albums of his that come closest to classic Van Damme.
