There are quite a few people who self-identify as androgynous, and not all of them are biologically intersex. This philosophy blog is ran by a person who is biologically female but self-IDs as androgynous, right down to preferring being referred to with gender-neutral pronouns and deliberately cultivating an androgynous appearance. Results in some very unusual perspectives whenever the subject turns to gender issues, with some ideas I haven't seen many other people come up with, though I don't always understand their opinion often because I'm simply nowhere as well read in the social sciences as the author.
