Taking an educated guess ('cos I am not one for keeping any kind of track of the huge mess that is my 'collection') I'd say it has gone from below 30% to above 40% over the last few years. The trend continues.

Probably about 40-60%.
Might calculate the actual percentage if I get bored enough.

Hmmm...I've got more Muddy Waters than Gentle Giant. I don't know, maybe 20%.

I'd say 20-40 percent. I still prefer a few other genres, such as alternative rock and hardcore punk. Either way, I've still been a huge prog fan since I was a kid and many of my favorite bands are progressive rock-based.

About 70 per cent of my archive is prog as I currently understand the term Prog, the rest is either proto prog or prog related i.e. Deep Purple, Beatles, Hendrix ,psych etc..

Pretty good question.
I guess I'll be at about 40% counting everything as prog that's on PA. Enough to be the strongest genre. Although quite a bit of this is from the fringes where people are argueing over whether it's prog or not. Edited by Lewian - December 02 2015 at 09:59 |

around 30%
most of our library is in the area of classical music (around 40%). about 20% are in the area of jazz. then there is some normal rock and some ethnic music, around 5% each. that seems to add up to 100%, but these are not exact figures. there are some odd albums which hardly fir anywhere. all in all there are about 5000 albums in our collection. most of them are stored on computer meanwhile Edited by BaldJean - November 01 2015 at 04:53 |

87% prog, the balance very close to progressive standards (creative synthpop, electronica, rock and jazz)

CD's: Probably around 30% I guess - almost as much again classical...
LP's: maybe 40/50% or thereabouts - my LP collection is rather like a time capsule, accumulated many years ago but rarely added to in recent times... |
