First vote for You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC because Baba will win at this poll anyway.

Psst - it's O'Riley. After composer Terry Riley, whom Townshend was trying to emulate on the synth.
Any cover band that can do justice to "Baba O'Riley" has my respect.

Classic rocks best known riffs of the list above I believe to be Smoke on the Water, Schools Out, and Iron Man. I will give it to Smoke on the Water as it is one of the classic riffs of all time.
Van Halen Jump, really? I would have thought Running with the Devil. Not the best choice for AC/DC either, TNT is better but still would not get the vote.....

Most of these are among the worst songs from each band. Except for the Eagles, everything they've done is horrible imo.
Went with Smoke on the Water, overplayed but still an awesome song.

I voted for Hotel California because of the great guitar solos and the fact that it is a great song that I never get tired of. Every time I think of Smoke On The Water I remember the Two And A Half Men episode where Charlie buys the kid an electric guitar.

Clearly these are the ten greatest songs ever, but which one is the single greatest?
