Uncensored opinion (not that that hasn't been the trend here): The song is well-written, musically. Didn't really pay any mind to the lyrics, though. They sounded very non-substantial (nothing really caught me ear). The production hurts it. Too much compression. Too much tuning. The vocal arrangement in the chorus sucks the energy out of the section. The vocals are also, in general, too high in the mix, the guitars too low. The bridge is pretty cool. It's definitely got some nice melodies. Don't like the video.

There's something reminding to Archive. Not my favorite kind of music. I would have appreciated a bit of darkness more. There's the risk that it will sound "dated" to those days in few years since now because of the arrangements. The choral part is a good interlude and...well it's promising but more toward pop than prog.
I've listened also to "Life in the Box". A sort of dark version of Police as the melody has something of "Don't Stand So CLose To Me", but it's more interesting than the first because of the changes in the signature and the sounds are not so 10's. I think it fits better in this website.

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Congratulations for the effort although this isn't the music I would
listen to. This may be not prog rock but it's close to mid period
Anathema.

Sounds like a thousand other mainstream rock bands out there, so yeah, it'll probably be successful. Not my bag though.
Edit: Sorry if I came off a little strong, but then again being in the music industry also means that you have to have thick skin. Plus, you posted this song in the Prog Music Lounge, which is a forum that deals exclusively with prog rock, and when the song in question then sounds like American emo rock, you're bound to get these types of responses. I wish you and your band the best though

I found it boring and derivative -- like hundreds of songs I've already heard and rejected. So I'm sure it will sell.
