Masterpiece - from another classic album.

I don't find that lyrics too sweet on this one at all - I interpret the subject matter as growing old and is, to my ears, quite poignant:

"That it's the last time you'll look like today"

Poppish perhaps. Syrupy sweet and an album filler no. Instrumental in promoting the idea that Collins was the best possible choice to replace the Gabe-meister. And like someone hinted at earlier, Banks was great on it.

A good song, but there are six others on A Trick of the Tail that I like more.


My opinion falls closer to #3, but I agree; I've got half a dozen tracks on that album that I prefer.
