I have it, but have only listened to it a few times. It's pretty good but a bit monotonous at times. As you say, you'd never guess it was PM.

In 1998 an album by The Fireman (aka Paul McCartney) called Rushes was released. I think that this was his second release as The Fireman. Rushes has a Tangerine Dream / Klaus Schultz / Mike Oldfield kind of sound to it. A fair amount of Mellotron on it too! I've enjoyed it quite a lot in the last few years. You'd never guess that it was McCartney.

Anyone else know / like / hate this album?

dead things don't talk too well, they've got a shaky sense of diction.
