Doesnt help those that want the hard copy though. A shame, because I think they've just re-released a lotof really interesting stuff like Atoll and Pulsar.

4 - Nocturne I - (3'16)
5 - Juste Du Temps - (4'17)
6 - Entre Les Murs - (3'45)

16 - Au Matin - (2'29)

Blurb:
"Thierry PAYSSAN is no other than the half of MINIMUM VITAL, one of the most perticuliar and appreciated Progressive rock band of today's scene. One used to say that twins always act the same: Thierry PAYSSAN may have waited six years before making his own great escape, but he also shows a taste for romanticism and minimalism (!) not unlike his brother, Jean-Luc PAYSSAN. Guitars are just replaced by keyboards here. Written, produced and performed by the artist, "Dans La Maison Vide" (Musea, 2011) has been created as the soundtrack for a journey inside an empty house, the perfect place for ghosts of the past, from dusk till dawn. Piano plays the major role here, sometimes accompanied by organ, vocals or sythesizers. Just splendid !"

I've got a lot of respect for their huge catalogue of obscure and interesting prog bands, but I cant help feel that they are shooting theselves in the foot by charging just short of £20 an album, which is badly overpriced when a lot of other sellers charge £10 or in many casses less, and because of that I dont have much of their music in my collection.

I spent a well worth fortune on Musea releases. I branched out and beyond the bands who barely surfaced with a reputation in America like Pulsar and Ange. I went for a host of bands like Mona Lisa....which there were certain titles from them that were impressive to your ears, however for me it was like listening to another version of ANGE,,,,and I found that aspect to be empty. It was like I spent hundreds of dollars on the Goblin and PFM cd's and was determined to investigate Italian prog further and finding only about an additional 6 more bands who were unique like them. Musea also did in fact carry more interesting bands than none at all....and compared to other labels they were rated the best for that realization. Inever understood what exactly went on between Musea and Edhels. In the real world it is none of my business. But as far as my sensibilities go I actually enjoyed those early Edhels releases which are no longer available I believe. Many prog fan friends of mine reacted a little harsh toward the band saying they captured too much Hackett and Crimson....and this took place more than 20 years ago. Now when you listen to those early Edhels releases you might tend to think it rates much better than some of the neo-prog of today. Musea always carried a host of bands that were like this. Many of them actually DID have something special to offer. It's a really cool label!

Tsuki Usagi (Not in PA database, under evaluation by the Neo Prog genre team)

Tsuki Usagi (2011)
Imprint: Musea

Track list:
1 - Tsuki Ni Nemuru - Unforgettable Eyes - (9'30)
2 - Tennkuu Heno Madrigal - A Song For The Moon - (6'15)
3 - Tsuioku - Shadow In The Mirror (I. Part One) - (8'29)
4 - Tsuioku - Shadow In The Mirror (II. Part Two) - (8'14)
5 - Tsuioku - The Memory Of The Windy - (6'16)
6 - Anata Eno Dengon - Message - (13'56)

Blurb:
"TSUKI-USAGI is an old Japanese legend, pretending rabbits live on the moon. On the night of a full-moon, it was said they would cook rice cakes, and that their shadows could be seen pounding the steamed rice used to make them. TSUKI-USAGI is also the name of a current Japanese band, firmly rooted in the grand tradition of nippon Progressive rock. Jointly published in the year 2011 by the Musea and Poseidon labels, the self-titled album displays beautiful keyboards textures, loads of guitar and flute, centered around the vocals by female singer REINA. Here's a piece of work that will surely please the lovers of such bands as PAGEANT, MAGDALENA or WAPPA GAPPA, just to name a few. Not to be missed !"

Various Artists

Imprint: Musea

Track info: See PA database

Blurb:
"There are a few artists out there that, without trying to change the world, succeeded in accomodating the old recipes to the present day. In the domain of Progressive rock, THE FLOWER KINGS is the perfect example. Following a path not unsimilar to SPOCK'S BEARD's, the swedish band led by guitarist Roine STOLT achieved to leave its mark in the middle of the Nineties, accompanying the rebirth of Progressive rock. It remains on top of the genre nowadays. It is no surprise then if, after having paid tribute to most of the giants of the Golden Seventies, the artists of today tend to care about that second generation as well. That's how the Musea label and the Colossus fanzine created an album in four CDs, tailor-made for the excellency of THE FLOWER KINGS: "A Flower Full Of Stars - A Tribute To The Flower Kings" (2011). The performers are: ABARAX, ARGOS, AP PROJECT, AURORA LUNARE, CHRIS, CONTEMPORARY DEAD FINNISH MUSIC ENSEMBLE, EXPEDITION: DELTA, FINAL CONFLICT, FLAMBOROUGH HEAD, FORGOTTEN SUNS, GAOU, GUITAR GARDEN WITH THREE LEGGED FOX, KATE, Marco Lo MUSCO, Michael OGORODOV BAND, MIST SEASONS, Cary CLOUSER & ORACLE, ORCHESTRE CELESTI, PANDORA, PHAEDRA, PROJECTION, ROMANOV, ROZ VITALIS, SKY ARCHITECT, SKY CLUB, SONIQ CIRCUS, SPOTON, SUPERNAL ENDGAME, TABULA SMARAGDINA, THE SAMURAI OF PROG, TINYFISH, UNITOPIA, VANILLA PROJECT and YESTERDAYS. Here's some stardust for the ears !"
