Danbo, that photo looks like some outtake from a bizzare other worldly Pink Floyd cover. But Hummmm....

....what would the title of the album be?

Aquatic Heart Mother?

The Division Bull?

Wish You Were Wierd?

I recall reading a part of Monty Python about the greatest Joke ever made, all who read or hear it die. On television it wasn't really funny, but the plain text was hilarious (trully the best joke I've ever read and survived(do'h). The scene was called "The killer joke".

My dog has got no nose.

^I was just joking, obviously. In fact I very much enjoy "Monty Python". My friends and I watch it all the time.  I especially enjoy the sketch which includes the exploding penguin on the television from their "Flying Circus" show on the BBC (even though I live in Canada). The shows are great hits in America as well, something of a cult hit.

                                 ARTHUR
           (wazzed stiff)
       Who are you?
                                 TALL KNIGHT
We are the Knights Who Say "Ni"!

                                 BEDEVERE
No!  Not the Knights Who Say "Ni"

                                 TALL KNIGHT
       The same!

                                ARTHUR
       Who are they?

                                 TALL KNIGHT
We are the keepers of the sacred words.  NI ... Peng ... and Neee
       ... Wom!

                                BEDEVERE
Those who hear them seldom live to tell the tale.

                                TALL KNIGHT
The Knights Who Say "Ni"! demand a sacrifice.

                                 ARTHUR
           (to the TALL KNIGHT)
Knights Who Say "Ni" ... we are but simple travellers.  We seek the
Enchanter who lives beyond this wood and who ...

                                 TALL KNIGHT
       NI!

                                 ARTHUR
           (recoiling)
       Oh!

                                 TALL KNIGHT
       NI!   NI!

                                 ARTHUR
           (he cowers in fear)
       Oh!

                                 TALL KNIGHT
We shall say Ni! again to you if you do not appease us.

                                 ARTHUR
All right!  What do you want?

                                 TALL KNIGHT
       We want ... a shrubbery!

                                 ARTHUR
       A what?

                                 TALL KNIGHT
Ni!  Ni!  Ni ... Peng ... Nee ... Wum!

                                 ARTHUR
All right!  All right! ... No more, please.  We will find you
       a shrubbery ...

                                 TALL KNIGHT
You must return here with a shrubbery or else ...  you shall
not pass through this wood alive!

All:

I agree wholeheartedly with Peter's statement. "Ni" should not be used in these forums at all. It is simply too vulgar and crude. Refer to the "civility" thread for more information.

Peace.

^I'm not sure I agree on your statement there, frenchie. I haven't seen that old movie in years, let alone quote it. However, I do have excellent grammur and spulling.

But seriously, why do they say "Ni" anyways? It has no particular meaning, except to make one laugh at the nonsense of it.  Interesting, isn't it?

Time waits for no one
The wisemen say
The moon follows thoughts to your grave
When we think that we hear
the glad man sing
We carry our lusts to the brave

Waltzing on corridors
of long forgotten dreams
Noticing the movement of the moon
I came upon your face
In the quiet of the dawn
Then lost it as the sun played its tune

In the moonlight
The sadness reflects in my eyes
In the new light
Dreams follow love thru the skies
On the wings of my heart
Where your face starts
and my soul begins...

Seasons turn to dust
as the dream fades
Colors show the stream left behind
I follow its trace
That your smile has left
Hoping that your soul I will find

In the daylight
Reality pains me to see
In my true sight
I awaken to find only me
With a hole in my heart
Cause we were so torn apart
and my soul waits..........
THIS IS ELP
