I was trying to start a mediocre thread about football without ruining your mediocre thread Joel, so I guess I was being kind at the expense of being mediocre.

^^
A mediocre effort?

Well, yes...

BUT
How can we be sure you're being mediocre without a single mention of the word?!

Proper team.  No loanees except a reserve keeper. It's looking good in preseason too - unbeaten in seven, The big kick off is this Saturday - I've had a season ticket over 20 years and never miss a home game. We all meet up in the pub and make a day out of it - like people do the world over, I guess.

I don't know much about Empoli, although obviously quite a bit about Internazionale.

Sergi Uriah on here is a big Atletico Bilbao fan (my second team is Real Mallorca, who i watch when i can) and we were thinking about starting a European/World football thread - there's several guys from Argentina, Mexico, Eastern Europe etc, and I know quite a few of them like football - as do loads of the English guys.

I love learning about European football and its culture, but we'd better not clog up this thread with too much football!!!

Let me know what you think.

Talking of yellow and green I even support a mediocre football team - Norwich City!

Don't I Luca?
I don't know why, besides the last time I comented about the Canaries going down, I kind of like that team Smile

It's strange you say that, very few people in England dislike us... except Ipswich of course. That's our local rivals - it's a bit like AC & Inter, but on a MUCH smaller scale!

PS who do you support - either you didn't say or i can't remember.
Well, I support the team of my town... Empoli FC

and Inter.

But, in english football, I like Norwich and Plymouth Argyle

(when I joked about Norwich getting relegated I was joking, but I was actually disappointed)

Yes, I've read a bit about the Old Farm... I always check the results of Norwich... the first time I heard about them was in Nick Hornby's book...My Favourite Year.

Are they organizing a proper team for next year or are they going to rely again on loans? Confused

Quite the most mediocre opponent I can remember. However, the travelling artist who captured the scene was, er, well, er... erm...

Brilliant? Magnificent? Splendid?
All of those things, darling, all of those things.

Embarrassed

When it came to writing Goethe was pretty mediocre IMO - to sweet heck with what the so-called experts say

That's because green and yellow are mediocre colours. Even Goethe knew that much.

Whenever I'm in the mood for mediocre music, I put on one of Art Garfunkel's solo albums. Cool
