I don't have an issue with the concept or people liking them, or whatever.  It's just the amount of crappy films and television series that are released that annoy me.

I note there's a new one out at the moment.

Although having said that, Kate Beckinsale is rather hot in Underworld...

I have an issue with people liking them because they were cool until people tried to make them non-evil. Kind of like drow.

Well most drow are evil.  It's only Drizzt Do'Urden and Liriel Baenre in canon FR lore that aren't, really.  Although I think there are more, I just cannot remember who they are.

Having said this, Zombie movies are even more annoying. LOL

Hence why the Beastmaster is an insanely useless class. Not as bad as a Wizard Slayer is when compared to a Paladin or a normal fighter (since both can use magic items which actually make you resistant to magic in a meaningful way), but still, it's pretty pointless. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't know Throne Of Bhaal would come up and I'd find I could only use clubs and staffs and my summoned animals would die in one hit.

My mate could probably do that.  He stayed for 6 months in Dartmoor living on berries, wild boar and mushrooms. LOL

You know, I really cannot remember what got me into avant-garde music.  Probably Univers Zéro.

Although some of VdGG's output is almost avant-prog at times (mostly on Pawn Hearts).

Ooooh, HP would hate this.  It's more repetitive than a Can tune.

Yet I prefer it to Can.

Less of a problem in BG1 since blunt weapons also covers quarterstaffs, but yeah, the +2 club from the Druid Grove really isn't enough. Not that I've beat BG2 yet, I've gotten sidetracked by my foolish BG1 adventure.

I've never played a mage early on, I don't think.  I should think a Sorcerer would be even harder though.

I wish modern games were that difficult... ah well.
But sorcerers can cast 3 magic missiles per day at level one.

But as I said, the difficulty is bullcrap because it's random whether or not you will survive. If you're a low enough level you just have to hope the wolf or ogre or f**king assassin doesn't hit and kill you in 2 rounds because you're too slow to run away.

Which one's your favorite, Luke?

Disco Volante is probably the album that got me into avant-garde music, so it holds the honor of being my favorite Mr. Bungle album. And as much as I like California, DV is just so much weirder, but in a good way.

Jaheira has the larger problem of being worthless. In BG2 you can give her a strength enhancing item and she's great, but nobody wants a druid that can't cast iron skins and summon fire elemental.

Maybe I should listen to them after I'm done with Mr. Bungle instead... Ermm But which one?

Les Poumons Gonfles!

Probably, since it's their highest rated, and that's where I usually start with new bands.

And got to about level 5. Or preferably 9. And preferably have stoneskin and mirror image so can cast it with impunity. And preferably that ring mathingy that doubles your first level spell slots. But it's a good spell.

Yeah, low level mages have problems. I think I ended up alternating blindness, running away, casting larloch's minor drain (well, it stops mirror image more reliably than magic missile) and sacrificing party members who nag me too much. Jaheira went right down.

These earbuds are far noiser than my other 'phones.  I've had to turn the volume down on everything.
