Deadwing or In Absentia is my favourite PT album. I was trying to figure out which one the other day, but then I realized that I don't have to make that decision.

Yeah, but this is teenage gar(b)age noise.

But Elixirs will probably remain closest to my heart. I noted the same feeling about Maahan. It's my favourite, even if, arguably, Kaarmelekunta could be considered better.

The EP's not Zeuhl at all, just humour I guess. On the short track "Zeuhl II", they do take a vocal excerpt of MDK last piece and distort it. But that's all. Pretty noisy Guapo, in this stage.

Speaking of Guapo, yesterday I listened to Five Suns for the first time, while doing the housework ... Very good album, though not easy to 'get' after only one listen. I'm looking forward to listening to it again anyway... Fascinating stuff.

And I need that Guapo EP. Do you know if it's Daniel O'Sullivan on it?

I hate Soderling. Pistol-player (when his serves and forehand is accurate, it's not at the max in this game). It's as early as the debut, so likely not.

A small EP called Guapo vs. Magma. It's mad. Maaaaaaaad. But just 12 minutes of loony music.

Yep and it's better than any other post-rock I've heard too.

Zilly, I agree about most post-rock bands too. Not all though. Try the album Hex by Bark Psychosis. That's much more prog.
Now Math Rock bands are much more progressive to my ears.

I've been listening to Hex quite a lot recently and I agree.
