My hubby played NBA, UCLA, and announcer videos to remember Bill. I was amazed at Walton's soft-spoken, humorous personality.

Such a huge loss for rock music, especially in the underground. The dude's output was insanely prolific, and he always looked out for the underdogs in the music industry. His analog-only approach to recording always gave an organic feel to his production and mixing work, in stark contrast to how digitized things have become over time. And some of my favorite artists have worked with him over the years; Joanna Newsom, Helmet, Manic Street Preachers, Don Caballero, Neurosis, the list goes on and on.

RIP to an icon Cry
Take me down, to the underground
Won't you take me down, to the underground
Why oh why, there is no light
And if I can't sleep, can you hold my life
