Agree 100% the worse thing they could do is carry on....they should call a day--your idea of ABWH is amazing with Levin--that would be a dream come true--or even Howe or ANderson touring randomly with a great prog band---which they have both done--just don't call it Yes.

What a shame. One of the true masters and leaders of progressive rock and his signature bass sounds will echo throughout the future.

A masterful player and writer, with possibly the greatest, most bad-ass bass guitar tone of all time. I was just listening to songs from Fragile, Drama and 90125 the other night, having a night of great music outside on the porch with beer and a friend...we were marveling at Squire's excellence for the 1000th time. This is terribly sad news.

One of the true masters.
Without the likes of him, a site like this would look much, much different.
Such an innovative, powerful performer, and, lest we forget, an astonishing harmonist.
Have to say that his solo album has long been of deep value to me. The CD carousel has already been filled, and will be filled, with Yes today, but Fish's album will get a few spins as well.
Hope he finds peace in the Universal Garden.

The thrill of listening to Yes as a young man has never left me, and I sit here tonight with a sad heart.
Squire was a towering influence on not just progressive rock, but also rock music as a whole. I can only think of Entwistle as a bass player of equal stature.
Squire spent many years putting music to the spiritual musings of Jon Anderson. He is now in heaven, living the endless dream.
God bless, and thanks for all of the great music which has provided me, and millions of others, with such pleasure.
Oh......please........stop touring as Yes the rest of you. Give it a rest.
