... possibly not unrelated to Kenny Everett's character Cupid Stunt. On a side note I have used the moniker 'Mike Hunt' on Twitter, and still do on various forums.

Back in my innocent youth, I never realised Cunning Stunts was a Spoonerism.

Ha yes - and as for girls growing plump in the night, I've often
wondered what particular type of weight gain they were referring to!

Although it's probably not quite as suggestive as one of Caravan's later album titles.

I managed to find a couple of tracks from Paragong "Live '73" on YouTube, and here's one of them.... Paragong - Camembert Psilocybin Flashback I like it! It sounds very psychedelic.

^ I've never come across any albums by Paragong, seeing as this is the first I've heard of them. I wonder if they're Paragongs of virtue...

This neatly summarises the Gong family I think.

It was a real Chinese puzzle unravelling Gong's humungous discography recently, what with 57 albums released by multiple versions of the band, including.... Acid Mothers Gong Daevid Allen's Gong Gongmaison Mother Gong New York Gong Pierre Moerlen's Gong Planet Gong Shamal Gong

^Indeed, and it would make sense to add her 'Mother' album as a prequel to their discography (noting that it was a Gilli solo album) as it predates the Mother Gong project by just one year (and possibly inspired the project name). If nothing else just for the sake of completeness.

^However I do adore Gilli Smyth's albums 'Mother' (1978) and 'Fairy Tales' (1979) - the latter as Mother Gong. Tho why 'Mother' is not listed here in the archives is a bit of a mystery.

I became a convert to Gong after listening to all 57 varieties of their albums recently, with "Downwind" (1979) by Pierre Moerlen's Gong being my 5-star favourite.

I have to declare that they are one of three bands beloved of many prog fans on here that I just cannot get into, however much I try. The others being Gong, and VDGG.

I was a relative latecomer to Genesis, not having acquired a taste for them until 2010 when I first heard their albums online, and I've since bought their first nine albums on CD, and on the subject of Acquiring the Taste, I'm still nor a fan of Gentle Giant.

Well I first got into Genesis way back in high school days from Trespass onwards, eagerly awaiting each new release. Their debut was impossible to find even then (the joke was that most of the original pressed copies must have been in Jonathon King's garage), so I only discovered it more recently now we are in the era of re-releases (especially long lost stuff).

I always like to listen to an artist's albums in chronological order too. At one time, "From Genesis to Revelation" was my favourite Genesis album (yes, seriously!). although not any more, but in the case of The Alan Parsons Project, their debut album really IS their best album, in my opinion anyway.
