I'm not downhearted
I'm not downhearted
But I'm getting there.

"He's got to love that knee ... Oh that knee ... Oh wee that knee, oh whee..." (my mind's recollection of Magma's E-Re II).

I, I didn't, I didn't
I, I didn't do it, I didn't do it, I didn't do it

We know, we know, we know, we know
We know, we know, we know, we know
We know, we know

(I'm sorry, but this really just popped up... Stern Smile )

I am the one
who crossed through space
or stayed where I was
or didn't exist
in the first place
I'm guitarist and songwriter for the prog-related band Mother Bass. Find us at http://www.motherbass.com. I also enter stages throughout the Netherlands performing my poetry.

Hey Paul, for legal reasons (copyright/ IP rights), we are not allowed to post full lyrics to a song without permission,. People should avoid posting most of the lyrics, especially if it's more than a line or a word repeated again and again
One verse out of a few should be fine. By the way, since this is about lyrics that pop into your mind, there might be some funny misheard lyrics.

The path is clear, though no eyes can see the course laid down long before.

Only Jon Anderson could have written a song with lyrics as abstruse as this. Smile

Dawn of light lying between a silence and sold sources
Chased amid fusions of wonder
In moments hardly seen forgotten
Coloured in pastures of chance dancing leaves cast spells of challenge...

"You look different every time
You come from the foam-crested brine
It's your skin, shining softly in the moonlight
Partly fish, partly porpoise
Partly baby sperm whale
Am I yours?
Are you mine to play with?..." ("Sea Song" by Robert Wyatt from the album Rock Bottom).

to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...
