^ From the ten international artists and songs listed, my personal favourite is Propaganda's Dr. Mabuse - produced by Trevor Horn (who's also on bass) with Geoff Downes on keyboards and Alan White on drums. Yes, it's three-fifths of the 1980 YES line-up back together again in a 2004 re-Union without the Drama.

I have a few Yello albums and think they are superb.
I'm also a big fan of Icehouse. As far as 'International' synth pop bands are concerned, has anyone heard of 'Our Daughter's Wedding' from the USA? They date back to the early eighties. I think 'Lawnchairs' is probably their best known song.

B.E.F. (BRITISH ELECTRIC FOUNDATION) A production duo consisting of former Human League members Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh. The B.E.F. got off to a shaky start with a couple of minor league experimental albums, but then hit the major league jackpot with three Music of Quality & Distinction albums, featuring numerous guest singers from the world of pop and rock, performing classic favourites in an innovative Synth-Pop style like you've never heard them played before.
