^ Maybe I should've saved Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera for my Psych Britannia channel.
Coming up next..... Rick Wakeman!
Oh my....please don't say you are going to review all 80 of his studio lp's.
I only own the first 2.....and tbh I rarely play even the first which is his most liked. His solo things never really appealed miuch to me and like Oldfield they are a bit boring to me. His group work with Yes and others was always far more interesting imho. There are probably a few that I would like deep in his catalog but I simply don't have the time to sample them all.
I love Rick Wakeman's music! His scintillating Piano Vibrations and rapturous Rhapsodies have been entertaining and enthralling us now for half a century. The Four Wives of Rick Wakeman are almost as legendary in modern times as The Six Wives of Henry VIII were in Tudor times. I've taken a Journey to the Centre of the Earth to listen to and rate all of Rick's *107 albums* and to explore some of the Myths and Legends of his incredible career. Some of the myths surrounding Rick Wakeman may have No Earthly Connection with reality, but that's how prog legends are created. His symphonic masterpieces have all the magnificent majesty of the towering White Rock of the Matterhorn, and for any self-respecting YES fan not to have at least one Rick Wakeman album in their collection is almost as embarrassing as admitting to a past Criminal Record.
