Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Post-rock with a more metal tinge to it. Very emotional stuff.

Post rock + metal...reminds me of Russian Circles, are PRSQ anything like that?  I'm going to have to give their music a try.

Yeah, yeah that's a pretty good comparison I think. Same methods, different flavor as Russian Circles.

Now I'm really going to have to listen to them.  Onto today's list, along with Aube, Biosphere, Nightwish...

Sounds like he was a great man. A nice touch that these threads are named after himThumbs Up

Now:
First listen. Almost finished. Pretty good, but I'm not blown away as of yet.

What does Febus mean?  I've seen that word mentioned a bit lately.

Febus was a great reviewer and contributor to the site, who sadly passed on a little while back. I believe he started the original 'listening' thread, and so we continue to remember him with the appropriate title.
That's very nice.  My hat's off to him.
He didn't start it, but he was a frequent contributors who made many comments about what you or he was listening to.  I had some very nice conversations with him in this thread.  In his honor, all of the thread titles since then have included a reference to him.  Hopefully, this thread title gets updated too.

Antoine was his real name. A Frenchman by origin, living in the US. He lost his battle with cancer at the beginning of December 2008. Quite a long while ago... But I will never forget him...
