TV has gone down the hill in a hurry! With the cancellations of Monster Garage, Monster House and Robot Wars I thought my life would end. There are still a few shows I turn in to see, but they are few and far between now.

Racism
Jesus Christ how can you insult an entire race!!???? it's stupid! racists are unintelligent, time-wasting, horrible, narrow-mided and ignorant people that give humans a bad name! Extreme Anti-racists are just as bad: they single out black guys and middle-easterns so much that they feel just as left out as when they started having problems with racism! oh my, can't we all just live and let live? Watch the South Park episode "Conjoined Feotus Lady" to understand what i'm talking about. |

^^I myself typically average between 6 to 9 hours of sleep, so more often than not, i feel relatively perky when i wake up. I tend to find the days when i am overly sleep, like a few weeks back when i only got 2 hours sleep in a night, i find myself laughing at all sorts of things i normally would not find humourous. Like last Wednesday, after i had had about 4 hours sleep in 48 hours, i went on my computer, and Windows Vista installed an update automatically and restarted the computer without asking me to complete the install, whilst i was on MSN chatting to friends mind you. Normally i would be angry and start swearing at the computer, but instead i laughed deliriously

Not being able to sleep is something I could rant about for pages. Listening to music last thing at night is perhaps the worst thing to do; especially prog rock, classical or jazz. You're giving your brain a workout it really doesn't need when you're trying to get off to sleep.
As for me, I average around three to four hours of sleep each week day night, probably six or seven at weekends when I'm more relaxed. Lat night I went to sleep at about 2am, and got up today at 9:30. Bliss! Tonight I'll be in bed at 11:30pm and asleep by about 2am, and up again at 5:30am for work. By which time I'm too tired to rant.. |

I was up all night playing guitar, until 4am, i could not get to sleep, so i went on my computer again to post more on Progarchives. To my disgust, the internet connection didn't seem to pick up any IP address. I then went for a walk at about 5:20am, but it was too damn cold for my liking, so after walking close to 20 meters from my house, i went back to bed. this time sucessfully getting to sleep. I woke at 11:30am, and to my digust a second time, IP adress wasn't coming in AGAIN. It would be another two hours before it did. And now it is 4:52pm.

It's basically 2 in the morning and I can't get to sleep. I was tired before I went to bed but made the mistake of not letting the song I was listening to finish and it was on my mind for the next ing hour and so I decided to play it so maybe I can get some sleep. It was so ing good that I had to play the rest of the album.
When I try to go to sleep after the album finishes I find I can't. Some weird feeling has taken over and I have the weirdest notion that I left something unfinished. It takes me another ing hour to realize that my blood sugar is low and that my diabetes needs taken care of. Now that I'm feeling tired I now have to go down to the ing kitchen and get some food together. And I think I left the ing light on. I checked, and find that I didn't. And now I have a slight chance of only getting 6 hours of sleep. And I need every second of it because for some reason I haven't been able to sleep much these past few days and the weekend was my chance to catch up and not be so grumpy. Looks like that failed. Miserably. |

Got a row about this before....so hopefully it's in the right place now. The creepy brown nosing creep, who apparently maquerades as the boss of progrock records, snitching on people....i hate crawlers and point scorers.
Women drivers.........Americanisms creeping into the real English language (except those from south of Watford)
Not being allowed to speak your mind, regardless.
Having the worst most boring national anthem in the whole wide world....god save the quen/king depending on who is alive at the time. And, while we're at it, why do the royal family live so bloody long?
Last but not least.....religion and thier followers.........
And so the rant endeth.....ohh.......finally people, or there friends, who think they deserve respect.

Why do we need change for change's sake. I can't find my way around the forum pages now. Came here for a relaxing few minutes and am getting frustrated. Did the appearance have to change with upgraded software??? Edited by Heavyfreight - December 31 2007 at 16:26 |

The evil me almost hopes they say you need a drivers license to get the passport. (Of course, this won't be the case) |

This has to be a contender for 100% genuine rant of the year! Bloody well done Incidentally, the phrase "their five unwanted, tax-relief children fan out across the aisle behind them. -ing MOVE!" resonates deeply within my new-town dwelling soul! |

Hmm...
The DVLA. I lost my driving license quite some time back and haven't gotten around to getting it replaced with one of those new fangled photo ID ones... anyhow, I looked on the DVLA website and it seems that the form of ID I need to prove I am who I say I am, is a passport. My passport expired last month and it takes ages to sort a passport out. I cannot really wait to get that sorted out. b*****ds! I need my driving license for something, how am I supposed to get the information? Edited by Geck0 - December 08 2007 at 17:36 |
