I would tell that Epithaph an I talk to the wind are cheesy  in your musical appretiation.

The court of the crimson king is not really a good album and the only decent song is in the court of the crimson king and i never listen to that album because i have so much other and greater albums to listen to.

eerrrmm....is that so...

Yep it is a boring album with tunes that bores me to tears...Gha you are from sweden i wonder why norwegians not got any good prog albums.

Ohh, you say that? Is it so, oh really....oh my, is it so?

Well its a really early prog album so that it is not as good as i expected. I actually thought it was so bad i never bought any other crimson albums... Got it on vinyl tho its collecting a lot of dust ever since.

I guess there where so many other more interesting albums to so i never got time for king crimson.

I like In The Court Of The Crimson King, yet I prefer the period that started with Lark's...

21st Century Schizoid Man is the best track. Moonchild is amazing. I Talk To The Wind is really beautiful. The title-track is beautiful as well, very nice climate. Epitaph is kind of cheesy, it's the only track of the album that I don't care for...

There you go, Ivan. The same kind of attitude carried Genesis through their hard times.

A band like Genesis won't never be forgotten, because it's a band that Symphonic Prog fans normally like. Fantômas won't be forgotten because experimental music fans normally likes it. The concept of "different groups of fans of different music" seems to be missing here by Ivan.

only because you said Genesis was the worst prog band ever, if i recall correctly!

Damn, I tried and I tried but I was no able to understand that you said. Please, try again.

Fantomas: The concept of "different groups of fans of different music" seems to be missing here by Ivan.

Fantomas also said: Genesis and Yes are the worst prog bands ever.

seems you dont follow your own standard

Of course I do. I'm a fan of Experimental Music, let us say. As so, I think that Yes and Genesis are bad bands. TO ME they're boring, because it's not the kind of sound that I like. In my "group" of people I'm not the only one.

but you like James LaBrie?  whats experimental about him??????

Nothing. But I don't have a limited point of view, and I like many bands in different styles. I'm "ecletic".

Fantomas I think we are musical foils for one another I do not think there is one band we agree on.

Do you like Novalis or King Crimson?

I like KC 1969-1971 and very little after that

don't know novalis

About the new James Labrie album, it was extremely experimental for James Labrie. He was experimenting with different styles of singing that he has not really used lately. (well, ToT) I haer he was influenced by the normal Progressive singers, Seal, Chester Bennington, Mudvayne in EOP. A lot of hip hop influences too, I'm actually surprised I like it.
