Have you come across a Mr Goerbels,  who has released a few experimental rock albums (The Man In An Elevator issued by ECM ~15 years ago), and can be found on a handful of RIO records (e.g. through the ReR label). Heiner Goerbels more precisely.

This guy was going to be one of the greatest Left handed relief Pitchers in the game in the late 70's early 80's.  He pitched on the 1981 LA Dodgers championship team with two really outstanding efforts against the Yankees in the World Series.   The sad thing though was this guy was addicted to cocaine and after 4-5 suspentions/rehabs the Dodgers cut him.  He was picked up by the Yankees and Angels but with the same results.  A Very, Very sad story. Hmm I seem to remember that Fleetwood Mac had a guitar player for a while named Bob Welch. The Dodgers had a pitcher by the same name too.

Why, to put the rear legs of his favorite paramour into his boots & use the gloves for grip, of course

You da man, Jimmy!

I'd take my hat off to you if it didn't make my head cold.
