Hammers suck giant monkey balls, it's all about maiming them with a sharp object.  Axes are perfect for the job.

Claymores are too bulky and heavy (my mate has one, so I know).  You want small, light and fast.  Give me some Shuriken as well actually.

I wouldn't go near a giant chessboard, so I guess I'm screwed!

I prefer a long bow. I wouldn't even dare come close to a dragon specially if he's surrounded by a glowing blue light.

You've not seen my two-edged one-handed Battle Axe have you Stonas?  I can easily use a shield with it.

Here's me with my single-edger:

I'm not left-handed though... that's how good I am!

Here's my double-edger:

Awww... poor girl...

I only need one too, but it's better to be safe, than sorry. Wink

Besides, the other blade is useful for opening cans of beans.

Only wusses need two edges.  Real men only need one.

Depends on what powers the enchanted staff has been imbued with. Stern%20Smile

As a young farmhand and/or graying steelsmith, you must defend your quaint village from a dragon who's awaken from a deep slumber, eager to dine on manflesh. Choose your weapon and fight with honor. Stern%20Smile

By the way, claymores, bows, staffs, and the two-edged axe require two hands to wield, and therefore one cannot carry a shield with them. Keep this in mind when choosing, as shields are very handy when dealing with dragons.
