I have to write a 10 page research paper for English class this year so I'm writing it on the Rock in Opposition movement and how it rose to (something that almost resembles) prominence in the late seventies, disappeared in the cultural wasteland that was the 80's when the original bands ran out of steam, and then came back to life in the late nineties when the internet created an explosion in the availability of obscure music.
