mmm. black metal. Now, if only most black metal didn't suck. Maybe I am biased because of all the lame myspace underground black metal bands I have tortured myself with out of boredom.

That's it. I guess I thought that they were from Norway because of the Norwegian black metal scene.

Didn't some animal killing satanic ritualistic band from Norway win that Eurovision contest a couple of years ago?

I personally think he's the son of Klaus Blasquiz but I could be wrong.

I liked last years French entry. I only found out yesterday that the singer is the son of a member of a Magma.

Haha, probably. Maybe it's because I've been listening to alot of live TD? "They were notorious for playing extremely loudly (reaching 134db in 1976) and for a long time."

No, I'm not. I've heard their name before though.

My choice would be Poland, actually.

They're mostly instrumental. Some albums have vocals... like Cyclone, Tyger, and the La Divina trilogy. I think there are some other sparse vocal moments.
|
They're rarely vocal, yes. Cyclone was heavily controversial because of this, but every TD connoisseur actually agrees that the album kicks ass, and the lamentation over under 10 minutes of vocalisation is aberant, once Madrigal Meridian starts.
|
I agree. Cyclone is pretty good.

La Divina Commedia is very well-conceived too, vocal-instrumentally. Perhaps only Paradiso is a bit lackluster (in everything, but vocals more than ever).
