Prog Tennis? Is that Emerson vs. Palmer, Fripp vs. Lake and even doubles matches such as Hammill/Banton vs. Evans/Jackson?

Rico, that tennis game you play, is it the best tennis game available and is it available on the PC?

No and yes. I don't know what the best tennis game is, I just have an old 2D one called Tennis Elbow, which is really just for my satisfaction, and Virtual Tennis 08. I also tried something called International Prog Tennis or something similar, but my processor couldn't handle it and the play itself was veeeeeery slow.

It finishes Sunday, don't worry. Oh and I'm away from next Tuesday 'til Thursday evening, so you can all finally get some peace and quiet from me.

Why don't you all go start a tennis thread?

Yes but it could have still had an impact.
I remember when Hingis was 16 and playing Navratilova... yet she's retired now. Navratilova was still playing on the circuit until well into her 30s and was still pretty consistent too.

It's her choice though.

Yeah, but she started being beaten by everyone. It was a shocking retirement, but since it all turned upside-down in her game...

It could have had something to do with her divorce. I think she could make a comeback if she wanted to. Gosh, Hingis and that other lass are still quite young too, yet retired. They retire under 30 now, it's weird.

I think even Marat Safin would have lost that match.

Safina No. 1 in the world?

World rankings are based on consistency. The W sisters are basically lazy outside the Slams. When it comes to the WTA though, the ranking says little these days. Since Henin, no one has shown the skills of an "alpha female". W sisters don't count, they've been in the game since the Renaissance.

I mean, I'm just wondering what the hell happened for it to be that bad.
|
1. Safina is not that amazing 2. she's not that comfortable on grass 3. she's the puppet no. 1 in the world and hasn't won a Slam 4. Venus is a Williams, meaning she wins by default 5. Venus is a man
