Yeah, but before I could, he kinda/sorta apologized and said he needed to let off steam. Why he needed to do so on my Facebook note talking about a f**king monster movie is beyond me. I guess his right hand dumped him or something.

OK, so I posted my thoughts on the film Cloverfield on Facebook, and all my friends had similar opinions. Then someone I barely know and don't even remember friending comes in and spams my account because he loved the film and wouldn't hear a word against it. He accused me of being "whiny" because I wanted some intelligence behind a film (he called me this while he was spamming fanboy love). Then he called me pretentious and an elitist. That's pretty funny, cause out of the hundreds of movies I've seen, I've truly disliked less than ten (Cloverfield, Spider-Man 3, The Matrix sequels, Deuce Bigalow, Fast and The Furious, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Transformers, and Baby Geniuses). With the exception of Fast and the Furious, Baby Geniuses, and Deuce Bigalow, the running theme is films that were a huge letdown for me.

Here's my point, if someone doesn't like a movie you do, who gives a f**k? What are you, five? I like films many don't, and I hate films some love. I never insult anyone over their tastes, though (other than mild ribbing, which is not insulting). I can't cope with the kind of childishness it takes to get mad over something you had no involvement with.

Steady on Jim, there are limits to torture in a civilised society..
I'm sure that Amnesty International would 'turn a blind eye' in this case.

When people get lost in thought it's often because it's unfamiliar territory.

Sounds like you're describing a very definite crime against music and good taste! This would be like replacing Bonhams drum track on 'When the Levee Breaks' with some ghastly hip hop drum loop, complete with scratches.. Offensive!

The producers should be forced to EAT Phil Collins CD's for a month..

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

'Irresistable tendency to theft in persons not tempted to it by economic necessity'

ie, because they are either on Single Parent or Invalidity benefit...Stern%20Smile
