I went to the newly opened Media Markt at the far end of my town. There, i picked up:
One of the best and biggest stores around. Prices are pretty good aswell. Too bad it's a hell getting there. |

This is good stuff - on first listen this morning I liked it better than the new Pendragon album. Albums must be given time however...as we all know. |

I can't cope with Dragonforce...
I have to admit I much prefer Rhapsody's last 2 albums, SoEL II and Triumph or Agony...as they benefit from a slightly more restrained and melodic approach...the first 4 main albums are out and out power metal, with too much double-bass drumming for me...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Much Better than Rhapsody and Dragonforce. (I do like Rhapsody's song "Legendary Tales" very much, though)
Helloween & Blind Guardian is REAL metal! |

^^yes, I used to own those both, when I was in my early 20s...I think you'll like them very much. they were ground breaking in their own way, and although I've not kept up with all of Helloween's catalogue, they were head and shoulders above anything else they had written around that time...

How's "Keeper of the Seven Keys" by Helloween, both parts? I'm thinking of picking those up. The Title track sounds very, very Epic! Like Early Blind Guardian or mid-80's Maiden! |

I counted them this friday, and i have about 235!
Of what i've heard, Asia's debut isn't THAT bad. Like a poppier The Flower Kings, or a Proggier 80's Yes. |

^^ I think the Genesis is a terrific album... I don't know the Miles Davis, but the Asia is just too cheesy for words...
btw, how many albums do you own now, Alex??
