Chad Smith is a good drummer.  I'll give credit where it's due.  And Flea, of course, has played with a lot of my favorite LA punk scene folks and is rightfully considered a great bass player.

It is more how they so early had all those elements in the alt rock which sort of esxmcaped formula of 80s alternative music, like jazz, funk metal, rap, into allrwady punky alrøt rock sound from 82/83 few bands did soand bands took after them from GnR became ^ more funky, Soundgarden di in some songs have rhcp flavour( yet Sg influenced again rhcp in 90s) t

I would spotify their first album...
