I don't agree with this one. I see that on Octa and Chaos the material was rarely there and the feel certainly was not, but now on BC&SL they finally got everything in line for the first time since Six Degrees. And did it perhaps even better. Now after about ten listens I've got a feeling that it might be the best album since Awake, but it takes more to really see if it's the case. I'm extremely pleasantly impressed by the new album.
As I am about Kayo Dot's Choirs of the Eye. My friend pressured me to give it a listen and I might have to buy it even.

Nice. My friend was talking about that album actually, I'll have to get it from him.

The End is Begun is an album I've listened to more than a normal human being should have. I can't wait for the 2 new ones they're coming out with later this year.

even if you don't like the 46-minute long suite you have to admit that it's an ambitious concept and they executed it perfectly with an intense amount of emotion. Plus A Nightmare To Remember erks me because I've had a couple of friends who died in car crashes

I love the first disc of 6 Degrees to death (I think Petrucci had some of his best guitar playing ever in Glass Prison for example), but the second disc bores me unless I'm in the mood for it. Although I suspect that's because of my personal taste. Still a good 4 star album though.

Although, part of the reason I enjoy some of the moments from heavy/later DT so much might be because I enjoy lots of extreme metal. And I think Train of Thought would be an album that would fit will in this site's Tech/Extreme category.

The MORE you listen to it!? Well you beat me. ONE listen was plenty for me. I regret wasting my money on that piece of crap
